Many pieces of art have been made to honor Barack Obama. We’ve all seen them on the Internet ; great works of art indeed made by amazing  artists :  Ron English, Morning Breath , Munk & Flores and of course the now famous Shepard Fairey  with his  HOPE poster.

But this article isn’t about these artists and their work. No no ! We’re going to take a look at some examples of BAD Obama paintings because it appears that, caught in the  popular trend to do Barack Obama art , that is also very good seller for some time now, some artists got a little carried away…

We begin with this painting were we have Obama and his wife in what appears to be a Colgate commercial.

Here is one for those who are really disappointed that Obama isn’t white.

I’m guessing this is  LSD  tribute to Mr. President.

So the artist tried to impress us and he pulled out the old puppy eyes trick. Too bad for the weird looking mouth dough.

And here we have a depiction of  Obama as a Blue Alien.

Oh don’t worry we have the Green Alien version too.

Now why in the world would you depict Barack Obama as a Native American?

Yes we all want change. But also it would be nice to have some good artwork that don’t disturb the retina. And what’s with the large hand anyway?

And finally…my personal favorite Barack Obama -the soap opera version. Although I might say it really looks a lot like Kanye West too.
