  1. What stood out most for me was the use of the wrong state icon (Illinois) for the “Average Annual Salary” of Maryland! Kinda ruined the rest of what was trying to be communicated, for me…

    The hourly rates for the salary rates chart are off, probably a cut & paste mistake.

    $43,500 per year should be $20.91/hr.

    $33,200 per year should be $15.96/hr.

    $26,200 per year should be $12.60/hr.

    This is based upon a yearly workflow of 40 hours a week x 52 weeks = 2080 hours worked per year, which I believe they used to calculate the hourly figure.

    I would say that rate is inaccurate, as most salaried employees work on average 49-50 hours a year, not 52. (counting in 2-3 weeks of vacation).
