Free Vector of the Day #141: Globe Logo Concept
TweetToday’s free vector is a logo concept with an abstract globe. How it’s made: create three parallel rectangles, make them symbols and apply them as map art on a 3D sphere. Feel free to use it commercial and non-commercial projects, personal websites and printed work, as long as it’s a part of a larger design. Please do not sell it, redistribute it yourself, claim it as your own or give it as a bonus item to boost sales for your own products.

Can I use your logo as a part of another one? I want to change colour for gray and place a heart inside. The organisation, for the logo is, is a non-profit one.

you can, but as you can see in the previous comments, someone else is using it, as well. if you want your logo to be unique, try to customize it a bit.

I’ve been trying to follow your instructions on how this is made, but can’t get the symbol to wrap fully around the sphere. When you created your rectangles, were they the same object/rectangle all left aligned and spaced equally? Was the symbol staggered? Thanks!

Yeah, they’re just two parallel rectangles. The symbol is set to “Graphic” and when I placed it as map art, i rotated it a bit.
