Designer’s Break – Commercials gone bad
TweetCommercials are a good way to promote any product out there on the market, whether it’s material, digital or services. We’ve all seen some great commercials, serious, hilarious, dramatic or just plain average. Well, here’s a set of commercials that not only have a bad idea behind them, but they simply make you not buy that product!
Singing pepperoni, Tabasco
Oh, the joy of eating freakish singing heads when you put Tabasco sauce on your pizza!
Wallmart commercial: Let’s tie up Santa Claus!
Don’t tell your kids to go to bed and wait for Santa to bring presents, just tell them to stalk him all night.. Perhaps get them an iPod, so they don’t get bored in the meantime?
Skittles commercial: taste the depression! Inspired by the Touch of Midas, this one has gone terribly wrong. It’s about the sad story about a man that turns everything it touches into Skittles. Here it is.
Hardee’s the fist girl
A girl who can fit her fist into her mouth. Oh, how proud her parents must be!
FreeCreditReport commercial: Dream Girl
It’s a guy whining about his dream girl’s poor credit. Here’s a better idea: get a job instead of sitting around playing a guitar!
Boost Mobile
This is one of those commercials you really don’t want to see on TV or pretty much anywhere else. Overgrown armpit hair is not a good idea for a commercial!
Burger King commercial: Wake up with the king – Window
I bet a lot of people like to see the Burger King masked guy stalking at your window every morning. And what’s with the entire fauna gathering around him?
Quiznos Subs, Rats
I watched this and by the end of it I thought: “What the hell have the ad people been high on?†I mean, that’s not even a rat! And second, why use a rat in a food commercial? Srsly.
